Crock Pot Deer Ribs


1 cup red wine
1 cup beef broth
½ cup coffee
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp chili peppers
½ tsp pepper
1 tsp Worcestershire
2 bay leaves
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 ½ cup barbecue sauce


Place all ingredients except BBQ sauce in plastic bag with ribs and let sit in refrigerator overnight.

Remove ribs, reserve 1 cup of the liquid and mix with the BBQ sauce; set aside.

Place ribs on a baking sheet, bone side down and bake in a 375° Fahrenheit oven for 25 minutes.

Remove from oven and place ribs and sauce into crock-pot and mix well.

Cook on low for 4 hours.
