As storms roll in this week I think spring is here. The water is coming up and so are the fish. I hope you folks have had some success on the water in the last few days.

Crappie are moving shallow. They can be caught long line trolling and with Bobby Garland jigs around wood.

Bass are still being caught on long mud points. Crank baits, jigs, and Carolina rigs seem to be good choices.

A few catfish are being caught on cut bait.

I would like to thank all of my readers and sponsors. Please check them out. As always you can follow me on Facebook, and Instagram @joshmorrisfishing

The water is going to be hazardous this weekend be safe out there!
