Beer Basted Rabbit

3 pounds rabbit meat
2 Tbsp garlic salt
2 (12 fluid ounce) cans/bottle beer
Preheat grill to medium high and lightly oil grate
Season rabbit meat with garlic salt and place on heated grill. Pour beer into a medium bowl. Let rabbit cook 15 (fifteen) minutes, then start basting with beer every 5 (five) minutes until done, about 30 (thirty) minutes.

Optional Twist
3 pounds rabbit meat
2 Tbsp garlic salt
1 tsp cayenne powder
24 ounces pineapple juice
Cook as above, but add the cayenne to the garlic salt when seasoning the rabbit and baste with pineapple juice instead of beer.
